at the lovely Manatee River Garden Club

Tickets are only $30 per person and include the chance to win TWO roundtrip tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines flies! Whether you’re dreaming of a relaxing beach getaway, an exciting city adventure, or visiting loved ones, this incredible prize could take you anywhere Southwest flies!

At Flavors of Literacy, you’ll experience a diverse selection of mouthwatering dishes from some of the area’s best restaurants, each showcasing flavors from around the world and perfectly paired with a beer from the same region. This is your chance to indulge in amazing food while supporting a great cause. Restaurants include Acapulco Tropical, Anna Maria Oyster Bar, La Belle Fourchette, Mama G's German Bakeries, and My Thai Restaurant.

Adding to the excitement, we’ll have live music courtesy of The Throwbakzzz Band to set the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon of celebration and fun. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and chat with local authors, hear about their books, and get inspired by their stories. Every ticket holder will ALSO receive a $5 Goodwill gift card to pick up your next great read!

Our silent auction will feature a fantastic selection of unique items and experiences, giving you the chance to take home something special while supporting the Manatee Literacy Council’s mission to empower adults through literacy.
